When your pet needs emergency surgery, our staff at Kansas City Animal Emergency is trained to give your pet the care and compassion they need. Not all surgeries can be planned through your regular vet as many present as an emergency when your regular vet is closed. KCAE is here to help when your regular vet is not available and your pet needs surgical intervention.
We do everything in our power to minimize the stress of unexpected surgical situations. While we do not staff specialist surgeons at Kansas City Animal Emergency we do have a very experienced team of Doctors and support staff who are more than happy to intervene when your pet requires surgery and it is best that it be performed sooner rather than later.
After the surgery, we design pain management strategies specific to your pet's size, breed, and condition. It's Kansas City Animal Emergency’s goal to partner with your regular Veterinarian, transferring your pet for further care if and when appropriate.
